WISKA is one of the first manufacturers that has received the mark approval DIN EN 62444 by the VDE after the former norm DIN EN 50626 has expired by 23.09.2016.
In this international norm requirements for construction and production of cable glands for electrical installations are defined. The Institute of VDE (Association for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) tests and certifies the compliance with these requirements.
For a major part of the SPRINT cable gland system by WISKA the VDE Institute has now officially given its mark approval. This means that the standard cable glands of the SPRINT system made of polyamide, brass and stainless steel are certified according to the new norm. Furthermore all variants with bend protection as well as EMC inserts receive the VCE certification with the number 40006479.
