We have recently launched our new careers page on our website, which includes our Kickstart roles.
This is an exciting opportunity for 16-24 year olds which will help you gain valuable experience which you can use to obtain full time employment.
This is run by ACIS and the DWP so if you’re on Universal Credit you can get a 6 month placement where you will work a minimum of 25 hours a week. You will receive full training and support that will help you in your career both during, and after your placement has finished.
We currently have Kickstart opportunities across many of our branches including:

Doing your Kickstart at LEW provides career building experience in our busy branches and warehouses. You will get hands on training on warehouse management, customer service, merchandising, stock control and an insight into the Electrical Wholesale industry.
In addition to these branch roles, we also have some Kickstart opportunities in our Head Office, in our HR and purchasing departments. The HR role also has a possibility that this may lead to a full apprenticeship, something which LEW has experience in developing.
