Based at Celtic Place on Althena Drive, LEW Grimsby has seen many changes. Former Operations Director Bruno Hickson opened the branch back in 2002. Bruno had a real hand in its progression. Paul Courtley is now the LEW Branch Manager. Paul himself, has recently celebrated his 10th Anniversary with the branch. He has also seen a great deal of growth since joining LEW back in 2011!
Back in 2002, the average price of petrol was 74p a litre. David Beckham scored the penalty that beat Argentina 1-0 in the 2002 World Cup in Japan. The queen celebrated her Golden Jubilee! Reality TV was born; This included shows like Popstars and ‘musicians’ that we’d never hear from again!
One of the prouder moments came in 2019. This came whilst appearing on DIY SOS. LEW Grimsby provided materials for a family who had encountered a lot of tragedy.
“LEW Grimsby will continue to help out in the community on projects that mean alot to us. We’ve been very proud to serve the Grimsby area for 20 years. We’ve seen some great growth and the team here works hard to deliver for customers.“
Paul Courtley, Branch Manager, LEW Grimsby.
