We’re delighted to let you know about LEW raising money for some great causes!
As you know, here at LEW, we care passionately about the local areas where our branches are. We love being able to support community projects and raising money for those less fortunate than ourselves.
We have some exciting news on 2 LEW branches who’ve recently raised money for noble purposes.
LEW York climb The Yorkshire 3 Peaks
LEW York Branch Manager Phill Middleton and Sales Account Manager Ian Harvey took on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks on Saturday 9th September.
They took part alongside some loyal LEW York customers, completing this in 9 hours, 22 minutes. This challenge was to raise funds for Mental Health Charity Mind and the Electrical Industries Charity. They raised an amazing £2,500 to be split evenly between the two.
Both charities do outstanding work in our industry for mental health so the funds will be greatly received. As we recently reported in LEWS NEWS, 1 in 4 of us will struggle with mental health issues this year. The Electrical Industries Charity have been around for over 100 years and are an organisation who assist with issues such as mental health, debt management and family problems. They work with everyone in the industry from apprentices all the way to those who have retired, and have excellent resources on their website.
Well done guys on a great effort!
