We’ve got some exciting news about some LEW Sheffield staff achievements.
Max Howard
We’re delighted to announce that LEW Sheffield’s Max Howard has been highly commended at the National Apprentice Awards 2023.
Max was nominated against candidates from Haribo, Travis Perkins, Nestle and Coca-Cola. Max joined us in 2021 and has developed really well in his time at LEW, showing great commitment and this award is testament to this.
In our commitment to Employee Experience, we like to make sure our apprentices flourish. This has resulted in recruiting a number of apprentices across the LEW network over the past two years. Several have gone onto Sales Account Management, Trade Counter and Warehouse Management roles.
“Max’s success comes down to hitting the ground running soon as he joined us. He’s always quick to learn and will continue to be a great asset to LEW Sheffield. We look forward to watching his career go from strength to strength with us.”
Dean Wilsher, LEW Sheffield Group Manager.
Dan Grainger
Talking of LEW Sheffield, we’re also delighted to let you know that Dan Grainger has been appointed Assistant Branch Manager.
Dan has been with LEW Sheffield since 2020, and has been integral in the growth of the branch. We are excited to see how his career develops with LEW and how he strengthens the reputation of the branch along with Branch Manager James Hancock.
This follows on from Declan Healy moving from his Assistant Manager role at LEW Sheffield to Branch Manager at our Nottingham branch.
“We will always endeavor to achieve a first class Employee Experience here at LEW and we like to see our colleagues develop whether that’s recognition for outstanding work like Max, or a promotion for Dan where he’s come in and delivered for customers. We know that Dan will continue to deliver the experience that customers have come to expect in Sheffield.
