We are looking to make this the biggest Love Your Apprentice competition ever!

Last year was won by William O’Dell at GSA Facilities who are a customer at our Warrington branch.

How to enter Love Your Apprentice

Entering is easy. Simply take a photo of your apprentice ‘on the tools’ and send it to us at marketing@lewelectrical.co.uk
We will then shortlist the entries and ask our Facebook followers to vote for a winner.

Once we have a winner we will send prizes for collection at your local LEW branch.

Timeline of Love Your Apprentice

1st February – Applications open. Please send your entry to Marketing@lewelectrical.co.uk.

9th February – Applications end.

12th February – LEW Marketing team to commence shortlisting.

13th February – Voting to begin on the LEW Facebook page.

19th February – Voting ends.

22nd February- Winner and runner up announced. Prizes sent to local LEW branch.

Giving yourself the best chance of winning Love Your Apprentice

Here are some do’s and don’ts to give you the best chance of being successful

Do:

  • Get a picture ‘on the tools’ of you or your apprentice. Be inventive, and creative as you can be!
  • Make us laugh! Make it fun, so let’s see your best humour combined with hard graft!
  • If nominated, get your mates and family members sharing and liking your post!
  • Get involved in light hearted banter.

Don’t:

  • Buying likes to obtain more votes is strictly prohibited as stated in our terms and conditions. If you or a 3rd party buys likes to get more votes. You may be disqualified so make sure no one does this on your behalf as this risks your chances. Let’s face it, they’re a pretty rubbish mate if he buys likes and you end up disqualified.
  • Any attempt to obtain likes by misleading, unethical methods will result in disqualification.
  • Get too personal or too heated in your banter. By all means, have a laugh, but any personal abuse will not be accepted and may result in disqualification.

Love your Apprentice- Terms and Conditions

Promotion runs from 1st February- 9th February 2024. Voting takes place 13th-19th February 2024 on the LEW Electrical Distributors Facebook. 

Entry only accepted by emailing marketing@lewelectrical.co.uk

Entries must follow general health and safety guidelines. 

Entries must be limited to one per customer/apprentice. 

Competition does not include any LEW Electrical Distributors Employee. 

Prize and entry Greggs voucher to be awarded specifically to the apprentice that has been entered on the customers behalf. It is not awarded to the customer themselves. 

Winning prize is limited to one and will be to the apprentice with the most votes. Votes are calculated as ‘likes’ on a specific photo. 

Images are for illustrative purposes and may not reflect the final prizes awarded.  

Prize to be collected at a LEW Electrical Distributors branch of winners choosing. You will be informed by email when this has arrived in your local branch. 

Greggs voucher awarded on entry will be limited to one per entry and are limited to the first qualifying 75 entrants.

Greggs vouchers will be an eGift and emailed out to apprentices at the end of the competition. 

Applies to registered apprentices in England only. 

LEW reserves the right to use images for future marketing and promotional purposes. 

Any entry deemed to have obtained votes through misleading methods will be disqualified. The marketing team at LEW will decide what constitutes what misleading methods. 

Buying ‘likes’ is strictly prohibited and may result in instant disqualification.

Any profanities aimed at entrants or general abuse of entrants may result in disqualification.

LEW reserves the right to remove any entry deemed to be breaking any rules. 

LEW reserves the right to cancel the promotion at any time without notice or compensation to entrants.

Voting will take place between 13th -19th at 12pm. Any votes after this time may not be counted. 

Any entry that has entered outside 1st February- 9th February 12pm will not be counted.
