We have some exciting news on LEW’s new Head Office. We’re delighted to announce that the LEW Head Office is moving to the Heapham Industrial Estate in Gainsborough. As you will know, the Head Office on Willoughby Street has been the home of LEW since its inception in 1993. It has seen LEW go from strength to strength, since Andy and Keith Johnson first set up LEW Electrical Distributors.
Our Head Office in Gainsborough is home to our Accounts, Purchasing, HR, IT, Compliance, Operations and Digital/Marketing teams. They have been integral in assisting the LEW customer experience across the LEW branch network.
After 30 years of strong growth, we feel now is the right time to relocate and invest in a new office where we can grow and support the 18 branches.
Originally, the plan was to have three branches, but Andy and Keith realised they were onto a good thing, and now we’ve got branch coverage from Peterborough all the way up to Stockton. This includes 8 branches in Yorkshire, in turn becoming the largest independent wholesaler in the region. LEW’s new head office highlights the success of LEW over the past 30 years.
New branch
LEW Gainsborough will also be moving to a custom built unit on the same site as the Head Office, and will include increased parking, larger warehouse storage, and an expanded Trade Counter.
Managed by Lynne Anderson, LEW Gainsborough has a growing and loyal customer base and the new location will improve our customer experience. Lynne has been with LEW for 29 years, working her way up to Branch Manager, highlighting the Employee Experience that is a key value at LEW.
Having been the first LEW branch, LEW Gainsborough has been the trailblazer for other LEW branches to emulate.
